Scope

This specification covers lightweight aluminum interlock armor type Teck 90 -600V Control cable with soft annealed copper stranded conductor. XLPE insulated singles, PVC Jacket.  conforming to Standard CSA C22.2, No. 131, CSA C22.2, No. 174, FT-4 flame test

Application

Teck 90 is for use in power, control and lighting circuits at industrial and chemical plants, pulp and paper mills, steel mills, mines, power generating facilities, food processing plants and commercial centers. Teck 90 is suitable for installation in wet or dry locations in troughs, trays and in direct burial applications. Teck 90 is for applications up to 600 volts and temperatures from -40°C to +90°C.

Construction

Conductors:Soft annealed copper .

Sizes:14AWG-10AWG. .

Insulation: cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).

Color coding:

Cabling: Two or more conductors are assembled without fillers and wraped by a polyester binder tape. A marker tape is inserted under the binder tape.
Ground: bare stranded soft drawn conductor.

InnerJacket: black polyvinyl chloride PVC

Armor: Aluminum interlock armor is applied over the assembly.

OuterJacket: black polyvinyl chloride PVC outer jacket, which is chemical, sunlight and abrasion resistant.

Information  on  the  marker tape or the jacket:  AWG or kcmil size,conductor type letters,rated voltage,the name of the manufacturer,UL file number,characteristic,manufacture date,FEET.
